Meet Our Staff

And by "staff" we mean our animals of course!

We have horses, ponies, goats, pigs, rabbits, chickens, dogs, cats and many more animals; and they'd all love to meet you!

Our Horses & Ponies

Ginger

Another of our older ladies, Ginger is a gorgeous Blanket-Spotted Appaloosa and is 13.2 hands high. Born in 1989, Ginger has been with us since 2009 and is loved by everyone! She is top of the herd in her field, and does a wonderful job taking care of beginners and small children.

Kiwi

Kiwi is a beautiful lady who is 13.1 hands high and joined our family in 2007. Born in 1987, Kiwi is a Paint/Appaloosa and is chestnut pinto in color. If you look carefully at her face, you can see the brown New Zealand-shaped marking from which Kiwi got her name. Gentle and sweet, Kiwi is perfect for beginners and small children.

Gus

A lovely white and chestnut Tobiano Pinto, Gus is 14.3 hands high and has been a part of our farm family since 2008. Gus is 17 years old, loves to sing for his breakfast and will lick his feedbag clean! Occasionally strong-willed, Gus is best suited for intermediate riders.

Cora

Cora is a Shetland Pony and is a gorgeous strawberry roan color. She is twenty years old and has been with us at EasiHorse since she was two. She does lessons and takes turns with Pixie when it's time to drive the cart for camps and parties.

Ray

Ray is our little surprise baby! Born right here at EasiHorse in March 2014, Ray is still a growing lad and is not yet old enough for riding. He is currently learning how to walk on a lead rope and stand still when he is tied up in the barn. But really he just loves to run  around in the field with his friends, and chew on anything he can find!

Austin

Austin is a Pony of America Leopard Spotted Appaloosa. He came to live with us in 2009 and has been a camp favorite ever since. Austin is 13.2 hands high and was born in 1995. Austin used to show and works well with both beginner and intermediate riders. Did you know only Appaloosas can be Ponies of America?

Pixie

Our little Pixie is a Shetland Pony who is 11 hands high and a black and white Tobiano  Pinto. Pixie was born in 1999 and has been a part of our family for almost her entire life. Although small, Pixie is very strong! She loves pulling the cart and helping little kids get    started riding. Did you know Shetland Ponies can pull up to three times their body weight?

Obie

Obie is a Dutch Warmblood/ Thoroughbred cross who stands 16.1 hands high. He is chestnut in color and was born in 2002. Obie's full name is Oberon after the King of the Fairies; although, as our tallest horse, he is probably a little bigger than most fairies! With his strength, Obie is great for riders of any size.

Pepper

Pepper was born in 2003 and came to live with us at Easihorse in 2015. Although she looks a lot like Steve and is also a black and white registered Paint (which can get confusing at times!), Pepper is a little taller, standing 15 hands high. In addition, Pepper is great with kids of all levels, including beginners.

Piper

Piper is a flea-bitten gray Arabian who came to live with us in 2009. She was born in 2003 and is quite the independent lady so she is best suited for intermediate to advanced riders. Did you know some Arabians only have 5 vertebrae instead of the usual 6?

Tootsie Roll

Tootsie Roll was born in 1995 and just joined us at Easihorse in 2016. She is a lovely chestnut Quarter pony and is the perfect size for young kids. She also has a baby named Cupcake who lives at our other farm.

Teddy

A Morgan/ Racking Pony cross, Teddy is 13.2 hands high and a lovely Seal Brown Bay in coloring. Teddy was born in 2002 and came to join us at the farm in 2009 (along with Ginger and Sterling.) A sweet pony with a nice canter, Teddy is a great choice for anyone looking to work on the faster gaits.

Sunshine

Sunshine is a chestnut Quarter Horse who stands 14.3 hands high and was born in 2008. She came to live with us in October 2013 and had quite the surprise in store for us! Unknown to everyone, Sunshine was pregnant when we bought her and gave birth to Ray just a few months later. One of our youngest horses, Sunshine is best suited for intermediate and advanced riders.

Vinnie

Vinnie is a registered Norwegian Fjord horse. (His full name is Vinjar, but we think Vinnie suits him better!) He was born in 1998 and has been a part of our family since 2004. Vinnie has the stocky build and dun coloring typically of a Fjord, so he is quite recognizable in the field but he's not currently used for lessons.

Sterling

Born in 2005, Sterling is a beautiful grey Welara pony (a Welsh Pony/ Arabian cross.) Sterling came to live with us in 2009 and, apart from a few issues with his hocks, has been a great addition to our advanced lessons. One of our fastest horses, Sterling is 14 hands high, is good at jumping and has a smooth canter.

New Arrivals

The cuties below are all new to our farm this spring, May 2019. They're a little underweight and still getting acclimatized to the rest of our herd, so you might not get to ride them just yet. But we are working hard to get them settled in and in shape, so they'll be ready before long!

Ash

Ash is a registered quarter horse. Her birthday is May 18th, 1999 and she is a gorgeous red roan. She has also quickly become Kiwi's new best friend!

Oliver

Oliver is about 20 years old. He is 15.3 hands high and is an appendix horse. ("Appendix" means he is a cross between a registered quarter horse and a registered thoroughbred.)

Rose

Rose is also around 20 years old and is 14.2 hands high. She is a dark brown bay
