Intermediate and Advanced Rider Camps
When possible, we try to have one or two camp weeks each summer that are dedicated to Intermediate or Advanced Riders.
Intermediate Rider Camp is for children ages 10 and older, with two or more years of riding experience, and the ability to walk and trot by themselves.
Advanced Rider Camp is for children ages 10 and older, who have had two or more years of weekly riding lessons, and the ability to walk, trot and canter by themselves.
At these camps, we focus on more complicated riding techniques, such as: perfecting our canter, going over jumps and other more advanced activities that require a higher level of skill and rider control. As such, riders wanting to partake in the advanced weeks of camp MUST, at minimum, already know how to walk and trot on a horse without assistance.
These are the only weeks of camp when restrictions may apply as to who can attend due to the advanced nature of these activities. We want to ensure that all campers are still able to have fun and don't feel left behind!
The dates of these intermediate and advanced camps can vary from year to year, so please visit our Camp Schedule page to see what dates these camps are running.
If you have any questions about our Intermediate and Advanced Rider Camps and/or your child's suitability, please text Cassie at (919) 229-9772 or email us at fun@easihorse.com.
